FNM 2018

From Wednesday 29 August until Saturday 1 September 2018 the biennial international Neurogastroenterology and Motility conference, FNM 2018, will take place in the RAI convention center in Amsterdam. FNM stands for Federation of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, comprising 5 continental neurogastroenterology societies, among which the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM). The ESNM will host the congress in 2018. André Smout and Arjan Bredenoord (Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam) are the local hosts.

The FNM congresses aim to bring basic scientists, clinicians and other interested parties together and to provide the platforms for optimal interaction between these groups. In the main 2.5-day scientific program of FNM 2018, 56 invited speakers from all over the world will provide overviews with emphasis on the latest developments. The highest scoring submitted abstracts will be programmed as oral presentations that are interspersed between the invited lectures. In addition, there will be ample time for poster sessions.

On Wednesday 29 August, preceding the main congress, a Postgraduate Course on Gastrointestinal Motility will take place. This one-day course is primarily targeted at clinicians. Eighteen world-class speakers will provide overviews of the recent developments in the field. It is possible to register for the Postgraduate Course only. There is a discounted fee for those who register for Course and main program.

Fellows and trainees only pay half of the registration fee, both for Postgraduate Course and main program.
