Award of the foundation Neurogastroenterologie 2023

The Neurogastroenterology Foundation Prize 2023 was awarded by Prof. Thomas Frieling at the DGVS Annual Meeting in Hamburg to Prof. Dr. Francois Cossais, Junior Professor at the Institute of Anatomy at Kiel University (CAU). The Foundation for Neurogastroenterology hereby honors his work on the importance of the enteric nervous system in Parkinson's disease, opening up new insights into the development of the disease and innovative perspectives for future diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
