Countdown is running
The annual conference of the German Society for Neurogastroenterology and Motility will begin in Freising in 30 days. Following a joint dinner on 20 February, a comprehensive programme of lectures awaits you on 21 and 22 February. Take this opportunity to hear the latest findings from research and clinical practice, exchange ideas with colleagues and gain new inspiration for your own work.
The conference offers a dense, interdisciplinary programme with a clear focus on the enteric nervous system, the gut-brain axis and its clinical relevance. After arrival and a social kick-off on Friday, Saturday will focus on basic science, translational and clinical sessions on ENS, motility, IBS, inflammation, the pancreas and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic concepts. The programme will be complemented by an award lecture, the general meeting and joint evening events. Sunday will be devoted to clinical updates on IBS, dysphagia, nutrition, new guidelines and endoscopy.
As part of the Lüderitz Lecture, we are delighted to welcome this year's award winner Benjamin Misselwitz, Professor of Gastroenterology specialising in chronic inflammatory bowel disease in Bern (Switzerland). Kristin Elfers, 2025 award winner of the Neurogastroenterology Foundation, will also speak on the topic of ‘Physiology and pathophysiology of the enteric nervous system – with a focus on the influence of ageing on enteric neural activity and intestinal functions as well as on functional and inflammatory diseases in the digestive tract’.
We look forward to your participation! Registration is still possible: https://www.neurogastro.de/de/anmeldung-zur-jahrestagung-der-dgnm.html
